About PadiKal
PadiKal was founded by Dr. T. Vidhya MD., a Pediatrician practising in Thiruvanmiyur. Dr. Vidhya believes that early childhood education must be handled with utmost care, which requires expertise and a deep understanding of child psychology. Along with her dear friend Dr. Shilpa MD., an expert in child psychology and development, Padikal has been structured to enhance a child's 'first learning experience' with a rich and stimulating atmosphere. A lot of expert thought has gone into structuring the curriculum and special emphasis has been laid on developing the child's gross motor, fine motor, social and language skills. Teachers have been carefully selected to nurture and guide the children during their time at school.
The campus, at Thiruvanmiyur is surrounded by nature. One will notice that the school attempts to simulate a 'real world experience' for the little ones with an aim to create a 'dream pre-school' with safety as the number one priority.

A farm to school program is a popular concept in many western countries. However, PadiKal's farm to school program is unique due to its elaborate nature. It is a significant part of the curriculum which all the kids will benefit from.

Schooling and learning cannot stop for a pandemic, atleast for the those of us fortunate enough to have access to the internet. Pre-school age is when small children consolidate on their pre-writting, fine motor skills and acquire a larger vocabulary.
